Region 70’s Goal Differential Philosophy

Region 70 takes great care to try to make all divisions balanced to increase the chances of evenly contested games each week. Having close games enhances each child’s experience and is a component of AYSO’s goal of having an outstanding child development program.

To this end, coaches and referees are trained that teams winning by more than a 5 goal differential is not consistent with this philosophy and coaches are to do everything they can to avoid these scores.

Goals are noted as strokes in “Goals Scored” next to player’s name
